About the Author

My name is LaTosha C. Thomas -- thank you for visiting The Cyberbullying Portal website! I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Duke University in 1999, and I completed my Master of Arts degree in Counselor Education at the University of South Florida (USF) in 2001. I am currently completing my Doctor of Philosophy degree in Curriculum & Instruction: Counselor Education at USF, with an expected graduation date of May 2010. My research interests include mental health counseling, positive psychology, academic achievement among students from disadvantaged backgrounds, Black feminist thought, and critical race theory.

This cyberbullying website was created to fulfill a requirement for the Online Counseling course (MHS 6311) taught by Dr. Zalaquett. A special note of thanks goes to the trainers in the College of Education Laptop Lounge for their patience and helpful technical assistance.
